Product Description

Mesic Pollinator Mix…a site to behold as the settlers came across the Midwest.  This diverse mix typifies the Tall Grass Prairie  that once occupied the central region north and south from Texas to Canada.  The deep black prairie soils were created by the tremendous root systems of the prairie species.  Rooting down to 15 feet or more these plants will hold any soil in place after they develop full maturity.  The mighty Compass Plant here can live up to 100 years.  Many bees and butterflies will flock to these sites.
